  3. I am buying a new home. Do I need an inspection?
    A mould inspection is recommend for every new home purchase. The mould inspection is different from a home inspection. The mould inspection is designed to find not only mould, but equally important, any sources that could potentially cause mould (sources of water intrusions, excessive moisture and/or humidity).


  4. Can mould growing outside get into my home?
    There is always mould outdoors. Your best defense against mould in your home is to check regularly for plumbing leaks and water intrusions. Use dehumidifiers and/or air conditioning during the hot/humid seasons to decrease the humidity in the home.


  5. I have a musty or strange smell and I don’t see mould growing anywhere what do I do?
