Shipping & Returns


Orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Please note: we are unable to offer shipping outside of Canada. Please contact us at 877-405-2191 for the estimated shipping date of your order.

We ship orders via Purolator and Canada Post. Shipping rates are generated using the current Purolator shipping rate schedule.

In certain cases, Home Mold Laboratory reserves the right to substitute shipping with FedEx or UPS.

You will be contacted via email if you ordered an out of stock item. At this point you can either choose to substitute for another item in stock, remove it from your order, or cancel your order. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an estimate as to when an out of stock item will be in stock again. If you choose to remove the out of stock item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.


All of our items are guaranteed by the manufacturer for one (1) full year or longer unless stated otherwise. The warranty work is provided by the manufacturer. Please call us at 1-877-405-2191 for warranty mailing address. Please have your order number ready.

Several items may not be returnable under any circumstance. They are marked on the product description page.

The Air Check Mould Testing Kit must be returned within 10 days of customer’s receipt to receive a refund. A restocking fee of $50.00 will be charged and shipping charges will not be refunded.

Non-defective items returned within 15 days of purchase will be charged a restocking fee of $5.00 or 10% (whichever is greater). Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Non-defective items returned between 15 and 30 days will be charged a restocking fee of $10.00 or 20% (whichever is greater). Shipping charges will not be refunded.

We do not accept returns  after 30 days.

If you received free shipping, a $7.95 minimum or actual shipping and handling charges will be deducted from your refund.

Please call us toll free at 877-405-2191 for warranty replacement or repair information after 30 days.

To receive any refund, all exchanged /returned merchandise must be in 100% original factory condition, including all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, and warranty cards (not filled-out) and all accessories including software and original wire ties and plastic bags. Merchandise must be in its original box with no writing on the box or paper work included with the item. Merchandise must be shipped in a shipping box. you are responsible for any shipping charges to return the item to us. Merchandise that is returned with missing or damaged items will be returned to the customer.

To expedite your return, you must request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number from us by calling the number below before returning your item. All returns must be shipped prepaid and insured. Items returned without an RMA will be subject to an additional 20% restocking fee regardless of the circumstances. RMA’s must be clearly marked on the shipping box. We are not responsible for any returns lost by the shipping company, it is your responsibility to insure and track the package.
